Wintergrasp is insane

It really is!

I’ve been a bit slow to do any PvP, but last night, Kazura bugged me until I did WG with her, so I gave it my first proper shot.

We were on Defence, and made a pretty good job of it given we won.

So, we tried it again tonight.

This round had a lot more people on both teams, and was so much more fun. There’s nothing like two huge forces clashing at one breach in the walls, with the defenders not noticing the attackers force slowing to a trickle, only for a wall on the opposite side to crumble and let more through. In the end, the horde had managed to breach the courtyard, and, with a mere 10 seconds to spare, captured the keep!

Engulfed by the encroaching horde (See what I did tharr? ... /wrists)

Engulfed by the encroaching horde (See what I did tharr? ... /wrists)

I could feel the communal disappointment poring out of the monitor. Good times though, good times.

The planets must be aligned or something, because I managed to get another HoS run today, but Sjonnir, knowing that I’ll only get to kill him once in a Blue Moon, dropped the same (useless to us) plate bracers he did that last time. He also alerted Keristrasza to the fact I was after her boots, and she made sure to hide those somewhere.

I’m shouldn’t really be bothered by my lack of Heroic Drops at this stage, since those are the last two things I’m aiming for before… well, trying to find a raiding guild that’s fairly casual, and thus doesn’t require a huge time commitment, or for me to have the “best” spec. And where the hell do I start trying to find a guild like that?

With the slowdown on Faulsey, I’m once again turning my focus to alts. I’m 20 Stone Keeper’s Shards away from Exceptional Stormshroud Shoulders for Ilthiran, which is a full Nexus run whilst I have the WG buff, and 17 Emblems of Heroism from Champion Herod’s Shoulder for Ellaria. I’ve got nothing else to spend my Emblems on, so might as well get Ellaria the benefit of some proper Enhancement Shoulders, instead of having her share Ilthiran’s Druid ones.

I dusted Ellaria off today, and got a couple of levels, starting at 33. 34 brings the game-breaking awesomeness that is Sentry Totem! Worked my way up to 35 with a combination of quests from Thousand Needles and Desolace, so I should now be able to go to Dustwallow Marsh. I also forgot I had the reincarnation ability, I haven’t picked up any Ankhs yet, which in retrospect would have saved me a corpse run earlier. Alas.

I neglect Ellaria too much sometimes. I really enjoy playing Shaman, even at the low level she’s at right now. I’m eagerly awaiting level 41 for Stormstrike, which should spice up combat somewhat, and the thought of maxing Maelstrom Weapon at 59 is even more win.

As much as I enjoy Druid, I think Ellaria will probably be my second to 80. Not sure how long it’ll take, and I’m torn between rushing her up to 80 pre-dual spec so I can group as Enhancement, or waiting till dual spec, so I can get into PUGs easier with Resto as my second spec. The idea of having to build two entirely different sets of gear intimidates me.

-

I’ve been trying to switch over to keybind based playing – since I use the mouse for movement, the fact I had a click based playstyle wasn’t particularly efficient. So far, the results have been amusing. I unthinkingly bound one of Ellaria’s totems to R, and was confused when I tried to respond to whispers that I was dropping a Mana Spring Totem instead. On Faulsey, I really need to swap my Shot and “main” action bars around, as I keep activating Bestial Wrath instead of firing Serpent Sting. Testing a new set up in a Heroic is not advised.

-

I found something that made me laugh in Howling Fjord last night:

Yes, that is a flying Storm Giant in the distance

Yes, that is a flying Storm Giant in the distance

And you thought the Fel Reaver was silly.

Speaking of silly… Kazura won’t let me RP as a Ditzy Priestess! (I made a Human Female Priest for the purpose of signing someones guild charter on an RP server)

“Hmm, sorry? What? Oh? You died? Oh… I’m… I’m sorry… I was buffing my nails.”

Edit: Ohyeah I forgot to mention… I has no quotes this week! I sort of negleted quote seeking… Oops! Sorry! :( I’ll post ‘em either this weekend, or a bumper post next week.

Tweaking…

Messing around with blog layout at the moment, so if the header seems a bit off, or whatnot, bear with me.

Will update post when I’m completely done.

-

That’ll do for now. Just could not get a decent header screenshot.

I’m incredibly rusty (and my lowest mark in art years ago was for the practical, though I totally blame that on the fact we HAD to paint, and I can’t paint for crap) at drawing, but I might draw up a picture of Erethia for the header.

Maybe.

Don’t hold your breath.

So, five DKs walked into the Ramparts.

Woot. Seems Blizzard might be doing something about BM by Ulduar. Hopefully they’ll get it just right and all of us Hunters can all just get along and be merry in our equality.

Who am I kidding, right? Let’s just hope they don’t break us too much.

Also, I’m loving the overreaction to the nerf as highlighted by a comment at BRK.

Are they going to reimburse me for having to break out the Mammoth Cutters for normal questing?

I’m sorry, but how much did you suck at BM if you had to use Mammoth Cutters for questing? In fact, I’ll admit to being a very bad Hunter and not picking up some Saronite Razorheads (the arrow equivalent) until very recently, and even then I just use them for bosses in Heroics. On the off chance that I remember. I usually don’t. Still do a comfortable 2.2k DPS though. Anyway, to supposedly “need” to use expensive bullets for questing?

Fail of epic proportions, my friend.

Brann Spankin' New!

Brann Spankin' New!

Aside from that achievement, the run of HC HoS was either totally unremarkable, or extremely remarkable, depending. The whole thing was incredibly smooth – DPS were all above 2k, tank was approaching that, healer was insane – the whole one death we had was during the Tribunal, and was promptly remedied with a battle rez. We tried for the Maiden achievement (Kill in less than 1 minute), but I wasn’t aware that we should stand in the black zones to avoid the 10 sec stun, so we were off by 5 seconds.

Unfortunately, last boss didn’t drop my leg armour. Ah well. I have a feeling HoS, due to the Tribunal event, will be somewhat similar to UP – easy bosses, with an irritating event, that parties will variously breeze through or get bogged down in for half an hour.

DK silliness on Agamaggan:

Yuanjia, Kazura, me, Ramsus

Yuanjia, Kazura, me, Ramsus

Plus meeting up with Yuanjia’s brother on the other side. We tried to run Ramps – it doesn’t work with five level 58′s, though we did get the first boss down.

Tanking fail! Didn't keep Blade Barrier up the whole time!

Tanking fail! Didn't keep Blade Barrier up the whole time!

I think when we’re all 60, with a couple more talent points and Death and Decay, it should be easier. I imagine the AOE DPS from five Death and Decays, Pestilence and Blood Boil would decimate the place.

The second boss just destroyed us, so we ended up calling it a night.

Plans tomorrow: Run UK/Nexus/HoS, work, come home, do other two HCs if possible, get loots, rejoice!

Faulsey doesn’t like to run HC UP all the time

But he does like achievements and belts!

We got this totally by accident cause me and the warlock were AWESOMES.

We got this totally by accident cause me and the warlock were AWESOMES.

You have no idea how much I hate the Skadi encounter. I really loathe it. In a PUG environment, it can be either extremely easy, or extremely difficult. Most of the time it’s difficult.

HELLZ YEAH!

HELLZ YEAH!

I really hate Utgarde Pinnacle by now, so I’m really glad I finally got the belt. I’ve ran the instance every day for the past week, a couple times not making it past that bitch, Skadi. So I was ecstatic when I saw the belt. It now has a shiny blue gem in it, now I just need my helm from Ingvar with the meta slot, plus some boots from Keri and legs from Sjonnir. Ran the first two instances a billion times, but only run HoS once, so that might be difficult.

Slowly working my way towards a Nether Ray – Kazura and Yuanjia helped get me a 1.5k rep boost by killing Terokk – he’s a lot easier when you’ve got someone to heal your pet through his enrage.

Terokk

Terokk defeated

I believe I’m around 18k rep away from exalted. This… this could take some time. Given that the mobs will now give full rep for kills, and are exceptionally weak, I’m seriously considering just going into Skettis and decimating the place.

Silly gchat to finish off.

Not often everyone is competing for the title of "Ugliest guild member", is it?

Bits and bobs

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

To begin with, a couple of shiny achievements:

I hate reputation so very much.

I hate reputation so very much.

The fact you don’t get an achievement for Hodir rep irritates me to no end. This is a faction you have to grind with for quite a while (unless you buy up Relics, you stupidly rich and impatient person), and to get an achievement related to them, you need to pay 800g for a mount? Whilst you get an achievement for Tabard factions, which you can get easily in the course of doing heroics. Bah. They did sort of give me an achievement though.

Anyway, I hit exalted with the Crusade mid CoS run. We were trying the timed event, but didn’t manage to make it. I did, however, get my ring, and exalted with AC finally unlocked awesome chest gear. From dailies, I ended up a couple hundred rep from Exalted with Hodir, though a quick sweep of the surrounding area turned up an everfrost chip cheekily hiding behind the entrance to the Hibernal Cavern.

Next Rep target is Wyrmrest. Neither the Kirin Tor or the Ebon Blade are offering anything I need at Exalted, so I figure I might as well start grinding rep for a Red Drake.

Superior + Emblem Lootz!

After a sort of diastrous UP run (no belt, again), I consoled myself with a shiny new pendant.

Here’s some pudding.

There’s proof of BM DPS in heroics in it. (Though I thought I had two paladins – final member was a druid, so buffs were blessing of might and gift of the wild.)

OMNOMNOM.

Nearly 2.6k DPS on second boss in UP

Nearly 2.6k DPS on second boss in UP

2.7k DPS on Ingvar the Plunderer.

2.7k DPS on Ingvar the Plunderer.

Yes, that is post patch. Then again, it’s not a WWS, so it’s not authorative, is it? But it’s TRU FAX! After all, why would arcane be in there if it was pre patch!

Silly flagged ally!

Silly flagged ally!

Me and Kazura played our BEs for the first time in ages tonight. Typically, two minutes after this a level 31 Hunter appeared and killed me.

Yet I went through ashenvale twice on a PvP realm and wasn’t ganked. Le sigh. In fact, I wasn’t ganked there, or darkshore, or near the Exodar. I know thats a ghost town, but come on PvPeople!

The Cult of Numbers

Monday, January 26th, 2009

I think it’s time for a little rant.

When the news of the Nerf first came to light, there was a huge outcry – ohnoez, BM is getting nerfed!111one!!11!eleventy!1 Having been through huge nerfs in other games, I shrugged it off. I naively expected that this would be the final equalizer for Hunter specs – obviously, there was going to be some difference in DPS, but certainly not enough that there would be a “King” amongst Hunter specs.

Oh, how wrong I was.

It now seems BM is the lowest performing spec of the three. I, personally, am finding my damage to be just fine – indeed, more than before the nerf… but I only do heroics so far. However, everywhere I look, I see BM Hunters making a mass exodus over to Survival, with a few headed over to MM.

If this was an “I discovered I love the playstyle of X spec, I’m going to switch to it” sort of thing, I’d be supportive of it – play what you like to play!

However, for a lot of people right now, it’s not. It’s a case of these specs being so much better than BM that people can’t “justify” bringing BM to a raid.

Bollocks.

You can’t justify bringing the spec you enjoy most, to raid in the supposedly “easy mode” raids of Wrath – because it’s your job to make sure you are doing top DPS… the only advantage, for a guild that can clear the place anyway, I presume being the length of time it takes to kill the boss.

Bollocks.

If the boss dies, and there weren’t any, or an acceptable level, of deaths in the raid then everyone’s skill and spec were up to scratch. If the fight didn’t last a ridiculous amunt of time – and a bit less DPS due to one persons spec is not going to add a full minute onto a fight, is it? – then everyone’s skill and spec are fine.

There are Hunters out there – Rilgon immediately comes to mind – who have stuck with their spec through thick and thin – Numbers be damned. They may not have liked the fact that other specs were supposedly superior, but they stuck with their chosen spec regardless of damage output. If it performed well enough to complete raids, who gives a crap if the other spec is meant to do better.

When the nerfbat was swung towards BM hunters – so used to being king – our immediate reaction was to switch over to a better DPS spec. A lot of BM were only there for the DPS in the first place, so they can piss off anyway. But to see people who truly love the spec leave, or consider leaving it, is distressing.

I blame this entirely on numbers – on DPS, on Damage Done. On Damage Meters. BM Hunters are so used to having the biggest numbers, that now that this is no longer the case, they feel they have to switch to the new big numbers spec. We, as a spec, were drunk on our superiority.

But why should numbers dictate how we play this game? A game is about having fun. Why should we let a small percentage loss in DPS force us into another spec?

A 20% DPS hit is significant, indeed, but to a spec that was miles better than every other DPS spec and class, it’s surely not a crippling amount. You are not the only DPS there. That 20% loss to personal DPS will work out at a much smaller overall percentage loss in a raid. 20% less DPS from one DPSer is not going to reduce the raids DPS by 20%.

So I say, play what you want. If your spec isn’t the best, then make up for it by giving the spec your all. Do the best you can with what you’ve got – there are surely plenty of guilds out there which aren’t run by totally elitist scumbags, that will take you on under rated merits such as “personality” and “skill”.

I’m not advocating silly specs here – While I disagree with the “You must make sure you are specced for your Classes top DPS for raids” idea, I certainly subscribe to the “You must make sure you are specced for your Specs top DPS for raids” school.

And whilst I’m in rant mode, here’s another little thing.

Wrath raids are meant to be easy mode. I, for one, like this idea, as I’ve never raided before, and when I (finally… -gulp-) get into raiding, I’m not going to have a huge brick wall preventing me from getting any further.

But I can’t escape the “Oh, this is too easy. Anyone can do it. Blahblahblah” elitist statements I see all over the place. I worry that one of two things might happen when I clear my first raid – something that should be exciting and a cause for celebration.

I could feel that it was cheapened by the supposed ease of the raid, or, if I was excited about it, I could get a slap in the face when someone says “So? It was only Naxx, it’s easy. No big deal.”

I dunno whether to blame Blizz or Players for this though. On the one hand, it is Blizzard who made the raids so easy. On the other hand, hardcore, elitist players are just that- elitist scum. It could be an exaggeration. It could be down to experience.

I wonder, if I took 10 people who had never raided before (though properly geared, with consumables and had read up on the strategies), I wonder how well we’d fare compared to people of equal gear level, but with a lot of experience with raiding, if both groups tried Naxx for the first time.

A poem!

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

Tonight is Burn’s Night*, and this year is particularly special** – it marks the 250th year since his birth. So, I feel it’d be appropriate to share a poem with you… It’s not quite a Robert Burns poem, but it is inspired by him.

-ahem-

Oh wit a sleekit horrible beastie,

One of my friends sent me that in an e-mail, and I found it pretty funny. Of course, I can understand and say it all, so your amusement mileage may vary. A quick google also returned a large amount of alternate or extended versions. Surprised I’ve never heard it before!

Going out for dinner tonight, so probably won’t be much WoWing done the rest of today. I did HC Nexus earlier – but turns out they’d done the first two bosses, so missed out on Emblems there, though it was the daily. Also got the greyed out Pet Bar after rez bug during the Keri fight, dropping my DPS to an impressive 1.4k. Tried HC UP with a different group after that, and it was just a mess, ugh. Gave up at Skadi, leaving me 2 Emblems short of my neck upgrade, and short one attempt at King Ymiron again. I’m never gonna get the belt – and I’ve even bought a buckle and gem in anticipation!

-

* And if you don’t know who Robert Burns is, but sing Auld Lang Syne at new year, I’m going to be very disappointed in you.

** So special my work has stopped selling normal Empire Biscuits, and now sells ones with Blue Icing… which made me very ill after work a couple nights ago. Never trust blue food colouring!

P.S. Nothing like a good bit of Scots to cause your spellchecker to have a heart attack.

Quick Edit: This version has got to be my favourite. Leaving the original, paraphrased one intact, but check that one out for even more laughs.

Death and Destruction on Agamaggan!

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

Fun times, fun times indeed.

Firstly, I got Faulsey (Survival) the last 9 marks he needed for the necklace from WSG, got him the hell out of BGs, and got level 30.

Because everyone wants degenerate Chocobos, amirite?

Because everyone wants degenerate Chocobos, amirite?

To be frank, Hawkstriders kinda suck. Oh, what I would give for a Raptor.

-

Now, something entirely new: Death Knights on the same realm. This is a sort of “Guild Project” (Ok, so our lowbie Blood Elf one hasn’t actually started yet, shhh!) again. So far, we’ve been kinda bad and left Ramsus behind, but we’re waiting for him now.

Sorry, Kazura, redheads. (She's the only proper ginger, apparently.)

Sorry, Kazura, redheads. (She's the only proper ginger, apparently.)

Oh yes, me and Kazura are incredibly creative when it comes to names. Bow before our creativity!

We blasted through the questline without issue, but there was one major difference from the first time through : I got to see the entire Battle at Light’s Hope. I arrived at the very end first time, so I missed the good part.

I basically spent the entire battle running around dropping Howling Blasts

I basically spent the entire battle running around dropping Howling Blasts

Unfortunately, Tirion doesn't adhere to this school of military tactics.

Unfortunately, Tirion doesn't adhere to this school of military tactics.

We’ve mixed up our specs a bit. I’m Frost (from Unholy), Kaz is Unholy (From Blood), and Yuanjia is Blood (from Frost). I’m aiming for a kind of tanky spec, but it’s looking pretty miserable at the moment.

After we left the phased DK areas… we promptly went over to Southshore to wreck the joint. No Ally players there, but it made me feel better about the times I was ganked in Hillsbrad.

Finally, Ramsus’ DK is an Orc, and he had this to say about himself:

killed-elephant-with-teethWhen Ramsus is out of the starting area, it’ll be off to Hellfire Peninsula, give that a try on PvP… Should be, eh, fun.

-

Brief main news. No lootz today, but I did run HC UP and UK with an awesome group, with almost no hitches – we had a couple of people die, but only one at a time, and we recovered quickly. Plus, I managed to keep Moko alive during the Skadi event and fight! You have no idea how bad I am at pet management at the moment.

I surprised myself with my DPS on the last boss of UK. I’d been extremely pleased with 2.5k DPS on earlier bosses, then managed to pull off 2.7k on Ingvar. Nerfed? ORLY?

Heh. I’m really enjoying this new, to me, shot weaving. I’m not perfect yet, but I’m getting better at timing it in my head so I’m not having to watch my action bars like a hawk, and miss everything else. It’s more fun than mashing Steady Shot all the time, anyway.

May try run a couple more HCs tomorrow after work – I’m 1k Rep from Exalted with Argent Crusade for my chest upgrade, and 13 Emblems from my neck upgrade. Skipping the neck piece from Xevozz in VH entirely, since VH only gives three emblems, and thats the only drop I’d like, which would be replaced quickly anyway. If I can get the belt from UP and the ring from CoS, that’ll be me set for Hit Rating, and I can finally get my respec. I might drop Aimed shot entirely, to open another point that I’ll probably put into Efficiency.

Quotes of the Week for 17th-23rd January

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

Last weeks Pilot seemed fairly successful, my regular commenters enjoyed it, so I’ve plucked up the courage to commission a full season!

Yikes, that was dire.

Decided to continue on with the Friday evening postings – more convenient to just keep it on the same day as the original.

Anyway, time to cut the crap : this weeks post is free of the huge walls of mumbo jumbo from last week! At least, the top of the post is!

Faulsey’s Quotes of the week for Saturday 17th to Friday 23rd January.

I’m sort of cheating this week: A number of quotes are taken from the same blogs as last week. They aren’t from the same people, but whereas last week the list of blogs on my google homepage skyrocketed, this week I don’t think I added any new ones at all! I’ll fix that next week, I promise! -panics- I  kinda feel there were less funnies this week, due to the wonderful mess that is patch 3.0.8. (P.S. Blizz, WTB Aspects actually off the GCD and a working Glyph of Mend Pet.)

~ Vonya, at Egotistical Priest.

I’m sure you know the NPC in question – in a crypt in Dragonblight. I think this is a fair point – aside from the cultural faux pas, this is a dusty, damp mausoleum, in the biting cold of Northrend. There are some places you just really, really do not want frostbite. -coughs meaningfuly-

Ah, I was beginning to wonder why I was seeing fewer and fewer Gnomes around these days, though this does beg the question, why not just keep some simple wood in ones Hammerspace? Tauren are supposed to be the most humane of the Horde races! Balance is not preserved by wiping the Gnome race out, by using them as fuel for fires!

This is still very much in it’s early stages, so I’m going to be asking much the same of you, the reader, as I did last week: Gief meh teh feedbax!

Do you like the idea?

Do you have suggestions for how to improve it?

Should I take submissions from readers, if they find a good phrase on a blog I don’t personally read?

Should I limit it to, say, the top five, or top ten of my favourite quotes for the week?

Do you, personally, object to parts of your Blog Entries, or your comments, being posted on my blog? (If so, what are you doing blogging? -grin-)

Personal commentary? Yay or nay? (Personally, I feel that without commentary, it’s just an exercise in copy/pasting and italicising – which isn’t particularly interesting for me as a writer or your as a reader.)

-

I think I should try and give these proper titles – problem is, unless a lot of the quotes are linked by a common theme, a witty title may not quite fit. We’ll see.

I also feel like I’m committing a grevious sin by not having any Ratshag in there – but his last Maurice post was just too late for me to include then, too early to include now, and while his Palintera entry was amusing, there’s nothing that works on it’s own as a little snippet – you need the whole thing!

Huntery Goodness abounds!

I should really get a name change for Faulsey (Survival), cause as a Blogger, that’s got to be confusing for you readers.

Anyway!

Faulsey (Survival):

Mostly just PvP for marks at the moment.

Had a fun moment in AB, where my 100th Honorable Kill was none other than Grahf, Ramsus’ Rogue. Fun times!

Can just see his ghost above the quote from him

Can just see his ghost above the quote from him

Won the majority of the matches I had today, though there was an incredibly annoying twink Holy Paladin with like 2.5k Mana, and a penchant for spamming Flash of Light. Trying to down him solo was always a long grind that resulted in my eventual death if reinforcements didn’t show up.

Done with AB for now, as I’ve got my belt – just 9 more WSG Marks for a Necklace, and it’s onward to level 30 and my Chocobo Hawkstrider!

Oh, and I once again made the run up to the Draenei starting areas to tame a moth, and once again, was disappointed that I wasn’t ganked at all. Seriously, you guys can gank me when I’m leveling, but not when I’m in your territory? Disappointed!

Arisha, mark II!

Arisha, mark II!

That’s about it for Survival.

Faulsey: The main man!

Two quick “Yay items!” screenies:

I look so stupid...

I look so stupid...

Never again do I have to deal with these fishy freaks! (Ohwaitneedmoareggs...)

Never again do I have to deal with these fishy freaks! (Ohwaitneedmoareggs...)

Oracle Talisman of Ablution is mine! 5% Mana after I kill something. Omnomnom!

Now, srs bizness! Heroics.

We need idiot proof heroics. Please, Blizzard, give them to us.

Today’s daily is HC UP, where I get a very nice belt, and thanks to some incredibly clever person, me and three other people got saved to an empty instance. Wonderful. You could say it was our own fault, but you don’t expect someone not to know you can only run an HC once a day, do you? -sigh-

Oh, and by the way, Highly Superior Paladin from one of the servers big raiding guilds, stop being such a douche. One of the party members made a mistake. One of them. There is no excuse to go off on one and accuse everyone else of being tards. Kay, thanks.

Anyway, idiot proof heroics : if you try to enter a heroic and one of your party members is saved, you should get a little confirmation message, like “One of your party members has saved progress for this instance. Do you still wish to enter? Y/N.” That would be handy.

On the bright side, I got an awesome party for Heroic VH not long after, and it was a pretty lucky run. First boss was the Voidwalker, who I’d never fought before, so that was interesting. Second boss was Erekem, who ever so kindly dropped this stylish red cloak for me, and the final boss, that crazy dragon lady Cyanigosa, had these awesome gloves stashed in her beard. Good times indeed. I’d still like the necklace from Xevozz, but it’s something that I’ll be replacing with Badge gear as soon as anyway, so it’s not needed.

I was also pleasantly surprised by my performance that run. It’s probably a pretty paltry sum, and it does make me worry that I am teh suck, but it was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. My rotation wasn’t quite watertight, and I did muck it up a couple times (I’m new to this whole weaving thing, remember?), but I’m feeling pretty confident about this hand-weaving business.

Third on damage actually done, but second on DPS. Guy above me was tank, so those consecrates must have stacked up… -shifty-. Top DPS was a Retribution Paladin… Armory is down, so I can’t say for definate that he outgeared me, but I’m going to hope that was the case (:P). Didn’t take a snap of the rankings for the final boss, but I’d figure being second there too. Didn’t think to check last boss DPS till I’d left party. Not shown, but Moko was doing a nice 800 DPS too. Yay Blessings of Kings/Might, or alternately, bwahaha failtest on dummies.

I’m now down to a “mere” 7 items before I’ll consider myself done with Heroics, 6 of which come from Heroics them selves (all different ones, variation ftw.), and the final one is from Argent Crusade rep, who I should be exalted with 2 Heroics from now! -crosses fingers-

And to finish up, congratulations to Kazura:
