For me, the classic (0-60) zones/dungeons are just plain better than outlands/northrend. The two expansions did keep me engaged, but the idea of leveling a 2nd or 3rd alt through those zones was not something I looked forward to. I had lots of fun before Burning Crusade leveling an alt of each class to 60... I wouldn't dream of leveling 10 alts through Outland or Northrend, nothing but a grind. Reputation grinding was horrible in classic WoW, and it was all but required for Outland/Northrend endgame, which is sad.

Yep I miss everything being new and getting that feeling of excitement as you enter a new area and you don't know what creature will be there or the quests you will do. Or what spells you will get as you level. I think the expansion will be great for nostalgia since its a complete overhaul and some areas are being destroyed and such, I seriously can't wait for it. But, nothing will be the same as the first time you walk through the gates of Stormwind, or make that wetlands run (everyone should have to do it once before using the boat system haha) or even the first time I saw Darnassus that was amazing.

The few levels after an expansion are a wonderful thing to me, just like a new dungeon when it's fresh. It's that newbie feeling, experiencing things for the first time! And it's why I look forward to Cataclysm so much... every zone will be almost a new zone to experience!

I, too, miss being new. Endgame became somewhat boring over the years, and leveling became too repetitive, which was different way back when I was new and didn't know shit.
