Usually, I have a little PvP stint at 29 to get some gear and take a break from the levelling grind.

If, like me, you are a “new” paladin, used to being able to exorcise things… don’t PvP at a low level. You get to Judge and Auto-Attack, and press your Exorcism button and cry bitter tears when you realise it does nothing. It’s boring, and twink Hunters are even bigger nuisances than ever.

So, I skipped it on Flailsey, and charged on to level 30, and my 1g Riding Skill/Mount.

I think I’ll call him Geoffrey!

Sigh. Warlocks and Paladins are kinda hax. Druids are worse – you guys save around 880g! WUT. How is this fair?! –mutter mutter-

We gave XT-002 a try last night – others in the guild had cleared FL and Razorscale last wednesday. We never got him down past 75%. First two times, turns out there was trash that hadn’t been pulled (hey, don’t look at me, I assumed they’d done that last raid!) which then came along with the scrap mobs during the heart phases, which were just generally a PITA aside from that.

Well, technically, we did get him to maybe 65%, but then he ate scrapbots. Shhh. We can’t help it that we suck.

No raid tonight, though for some crazy reason I agreed to help out in a half cleared Naxx 25 earlier in the day.

Just to rub salt on the wound that was yet another fail PUG, Razuvious dropped the wrong damn relic. The only druid we had was Resto, and had that for their offspec already. It would have been nice to drop the totem instead. Yes, I can get it for 25 Emblems of Valor, but I don’t do Naxx 25 (definitely not after today), and Ulduar progress is slow, so that could be weeks off.

To be clear, I wouldn’t complain about not getting the totem drop if it wasn’t for the fact a useless Idol dropped. I know there’s no helping that, but that just sucks.

Threat from Above – Do everyone a favour, and unless someone calls out for help, don’t be a fucking douche and "help" by stealing their bombadiers. And if you do have to be an arse and steal their Bombadiers, don’t deliberately drop AOEs so I can’t take the ones you don’t need. I didn’t think to screenshot the names, but a certain group of Hordies on my server, you know who you are, you scum. -rage-

On the other hand, when I was doing it this morning, I’d patiently waited for a Horde group who had been there first to kill Chillmaw before taking my turn. Just before he spawned, one of the hordies returned. When Chillmaw spawned, he gave me time to tag him, and made sure to wait for me to tag the cultists. I am more than capable of soloing the quest on Shaman, but the fact someone was kind enough to help me, and to be very careful about how they did so, balances out the previous days cretins. Pyrofobos of DB-EU, you are awesome.

Rolled a random Paladin today. Kazura has a short attention span when it comes to levelling (Don’t deny it!), so I haven’t touched my BE Paladin in a while. So I made a Human one so I could play the class.

Human males don’t have great facial choices. Angry, Angrier, Absolutely Incensed, confused, lolwut? and shovel smashed face are just some of your many rubbish choices! I went for Shovel Smashed.

Given the name and the Kobold Mining Shovel I like to believe the face was self inflicted. BA Chatters will get the name.

Looks nothing really like that now, thanks to the fact I can actually make some pretty awesome stuff via Blacksmithing!

Got him to level 10 tonight, and remembered that Retribution’s tier one talents are awful at level 10. They have a parry talent and a mana cost reduction talent. My costliest instant spell is like 26 mana. Eugh.

Noblegarden. I do not do seasonal events*. They aren’t my thing – they are even grindier than the rest of the game! But as I was leveling Flailsey, I ran out of yellow quests, so I did the gather 10 chocolates quest for EXP. I ended up getting Spring Flowers, a Tuxedo Shirt and a Spring Robe. Since I had the shirt, I figured I might as well get the trousers for an extra 25 chocolates… By that point it was too late and dark to get a good shot to show you how ridiculous he looks.

A random egg I picked up after the 25 also got me a dress that I sent to Ellaria.

No, Ellaria does not remove those Goggles. To look into her eyes is to look into madness itself! … Ok, not really, but I like my goggles.

Children’s Week. I am doing the main quests for this, so I can get a couple pets. Speedy is the happiest little turtle ever and he must be mine! On multiple characters!
